So my dad likes to send me a string of emails one after the other if he forgets to add something after sending. I study away from home and he loves to leave me his ‘revolutional, new and undiscovered’ ways of studying lol…
Hi Vinc,
The email below can be summed up as ‘ Incremental study for long term memory’, read it loud, point figure on image, close eye and recite from memory. Make study fun and don’t look at a burden. Human body is a discovery science.
Sleep early, wake up early to study is important (from fresh mind).
Drink water, fresh air, stand up, changing environment but keep focus on …. between study is important in trunk of study.
Think of topic and how they relate to each other. Ask what is it? How does it work? Why we need to know? on anatomy picture to trigger your brain.
Regards,
Joe

Hi Vinc,
With the strategy(method) of study, if you have 1 week (which is 7 days) for anatomy, cut the study into very small trunks that you can remember and learn for 1 day only. Don’t try to learn everything in 1 day, you will forget, use long temp memory, start early, and learn very little bit at a time, cut whole day into block on 30 minutes study, 5 minutes break, stand up in between, recite/drawing frequently, ensure not overloading information. Memory Retention is important, linking superior to inferior, Anterior to posterior, Study the important topic first, etc… start early in the morning when the mind is fresh.
Day1: topic 1 only, and learn by heart, cover it, recite it until you’ve got it.
day2: close book/review 2o minutes on topic 1 on a blank paper. When and only when it’s ok, study topic 2(small trunk again).
Day3: close book/review 3o minutes on topic 1 &2 on a blank paper. When and only when it’s ok, study topic 3(small trunk again).
Day4: close book/review 4o minutes on topic 1 &2&3 on a blank paper. When and only when it’s ok, study topic 4(small trunk again).
Day5, 6 , 7: do as before
Hope you can try this out.
Love and missing you, thinking of you every day.

My father sent this to me via text, after I went to a dentist appointment…
Hi boo how was ur visit with dentist?
Also couple of point:
1- could u please take 10 min to clean ur room and get ur launch box to kitchen
2- plan your launch
During the week, I had neglected doing several chores, so my father was just making sure I was getting everything done. Either that, or he firmly believes that after taking AP Physics, I can make it to Mars and back.
