This was an email to my brother and I from my dad. He titled the subject ”Re: Radiation” even though it wasn’t a reply to anything.

Hey,

Just a note to remind you( while at reproductive age) about reducing radiation exposure as much as possible.  Especially avoid new airport body scan.  Please go to airport early and select manual screen.

Cal, btw, have you invested in a nice bedding matress?

    “Re:” means “In reference to”, we just get used to seeing it in a reply context. He didn't use it incorrectly.

    My fobby dad uses RE: like that too. I guess it does mean “in reference to” or “regarding”; nonetheless, at this reproductive age, we should all be careful! LOL, adorable!
