Son,

I will be at airport at 8:00am on Thursday.  You must pick me up but I will have no cell phone.  The battery is low and I forgot to pack charger.  You must remember to pack charger when you travel.  Do not be angry like I am now.  You cannot call me at airport. So look for me. I will wear brown jacket. I will look for your green car.

Remember I will wear brown jacket.

Love,
Baba

Dad forgot that he's actually talking to his son.
What kind of son is he if he doesn't know how his father look like?

… or maybe dad just recently had a surgery that changed how he looks….

    Hehe, aw.

Lol, i like your comment xD

Um, I feel that the father just wanted it to be easier to spot him? I applaud you if you can instantly pick people out of an airport crowd. Looking for a brown jacket and a face is easier than looking for just a face.

    agree with tayg0. :)

Really? You can spot a brown jacket in a sea of people more easily than you can spot someone you know really well? I await your applause.

Spotting a familiar person IN a brown jacket is easier than a spotting just a familiar person. My family do it too.
The funny thin here though is that the dad was like “remember I wear brown jacket.” like three words later.

I also agree with tayg0. It's definitely easier to look for a color and then look for specific features on a face. Think about if the person was far away – would you be able to see their face or tell what color they're wearing first?
Don't be so quick to judge…

Are people seriously saying you need your Dad to tell you what he's wearing so that you can spot him at the airport when you go pick him up?

Dad in this case is trying to be helpful, fine. But he's clearly being ridiculous.

  • TayG0

Yes, we are saying that. You honestly think it's easier to spot someone by only looking for their face? Looking for a brown jacket and face is much easier. The only thing ridiculous here is the dad saying it twice, but the son may of ADD or something, and the father is only making sure he remembers that.
