First Name (No) Last Name

I have a friend who’s middle name is “No”, because when her dad was filling out her birth certificate, there was no middle name for her, so that’s what he wrote.

Hahaha brilliant! My parents were apparently at a loss for what to put as my middle name, so they decided that since I was "constantly" crying .. it would be Constance.

it is a nice name tho .....
however the story's behind it's rather unusual ... .. hm still kinda cute .nonetheless..
  • I've always wondered if any parent mistakenly did that

My dad my (real) last name would be be too hard for others to pronounce, so he just got rid of it. Lily ended up as my last name

My dad spelled my name wrong on my birth certificate, but ive spelled it the right way my whole life without changing it...its weird because his dad wrote the wrong year on his birth certificate.. i guess filling out birth certificates in my family are a big no no. haha

My official school records showed an N as my middle initial for over 10 years because my dad filled out my enrollment forms thinking that N stood for None or Not Applicable. I feel ya!

My dad misspelled my middle name, replacing "j" with "ch". Phonetically in Korean, this is usually okay. Unfortunately, "soojung" means Crystal and "soochung" means sex.,

Hahaha about the Soochung comment... I didn't get it though for a moment because it's an old-fashioned word usually used for like king's concubines, and only used with a verb. So don't worry, people probably won't notice unless you tell them, or unless they're pretty old.

My friend's full name is Matthew S Tong. The S doesn't stand for anything. His parents just put in an arbitrary letter when filling out his middle initial for school, and it's stuck with him his entire life. S.

thats lol how your friends parents put an S in the middle of his name!
