You have to leave your Mini at home. It is not safe to park it on the street in SF!!! You have to learn how to take public transits and get use to living in the metro. Beware of many bad people there! Dress up yourself like a bum and wear sneakers. Avoid carrying a hand bag/purse. Use a piggyback or something convenient to carry when going out. Never show you are rich or have money with you! Never carry a good sum of money. Be alert and safe at all times.
